The project amends Article 320 of the Brazilian Traffic Code to include these categories in the benefit of the Social Driver’s License. By promoting freeness or partial funding of the Driver’s License in categories C, D, and E, the text argues that there will be positive effects on logistics, the maintenance of the production chain, and road safety. This is because drivers will undergo continuous processes of updating and training, reducing risks and strengthening the professionalization of the sector.
The proposal awaits the assignment of a rapporteur in the Commission of Transportation and Communications.
