During Military Parade in Beijing, Open Microphone Recorded Dialogue Between Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-un About Longevity and Scientific Advances. Conversation Surprised by Mentioning Possibility of Living Up to 150 Years and Even Immortality.

An informal conversation between Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-un about longevity was picked up by an open microphone during the broadcast of the military parade in Beijing on Wednesday (3), a date that marked the 80th anniversary of Japan’s defeat in World War II.

In the live dialogue, Xi mentions the possibility of people living up to 150 years, and Putin talks about advances capable of leading to “immortality”. Hours later, Putin confirmed that the topic was discussed among the leaders.

Excerpt Captured in the Live Broadcast

The scene occurred as the three ascended the Gateway of Heavenly Peace to attend the ceremony at Tiananmen Square. The audio, with drops and failures, lasted less than a minute and captured only parts of the dialogue.

According to the recording retransmitted by stations that used the official signal, a translator for Putin, speaking in Chinese, states: “human organs can be continuously transplanted” and that it would be possible to “even achieve immortality.”

Following that, Xi is heard saying that “in this century, humans can live up to 150 years.”

Although some parts were inaudible, the conversation was sufficient to resonate on social media and in the international press.

Bloomberg identified the moment as a rare capture of unscripted chat between the three leaders.

Putin’s Confirmation and Absence of Comment from Beijing

Questioned after the event, Putin acknowledged the nature of the conversation.

He stated that Xi brought up the subject while they were walking to the parade and commented that medical and surgical procedures, such as organ replacement, allow “to expect that active life can be prolonged in a way different from today.”

The Chinese government did not comment.

Military Parade and Message of Peace or War

The dialogue emerged during a parade that showcased hypersonic missiles, naval drones, and other cutting-edge weapons.

In a speech before the presentation, Xi declared that the world faces the choice between “peace or war, dialogue or confrontation”, and inspected troops in front of tens of thousands of people in Tiananmen Square.

In addition to Putin and Kim, China hosted more than two dozen heads of state and government officials.

The event brought together close allies of Beijing and was viewed by analysts as a demonstration of military and diplomatic power.

Kim Travels with His Daughter and Revives Succession Debate

The presence of Kim Ju Ae, daughter of Kim Jong-un, caught the attention of the foreign press.

Reports from South Korean intelligence services suggest the teenager as a possible political heir of the North Korean leader, which fueled speculation about the succession plans in Pyongyang.

U.S. Reaction

The good rapport displayed by Xi, Putin, and Kim provoked a reaction in Washington.

President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social an ironic message suggesting that the three were “conspiring against the United States” and stated he was “very disappointed” with Putin.

At another point, he claimed not to be worried about the rapprochement between Russia and China and emphasized that the U.S. has “the strongest armed forces in the world, by far”.

The Kremlin responded immediately.

Foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov stated on Russian state television that “no one was conspiring” and suggested that Trump might be “being ironic”.

The Russian foreign ministry also emphasized that the three leaders understand the role of the United States — and of Trump himself — in the current international landscape.

Why the Conversation Matters

Although the dialogue was brief, the content touches on a sensitive and high-impact topic: biotechnology applied to longevity.

The mention of transplants and organ replacement as a path to extend life and the idea of “immortality” suggest political interest in scientific advances that, if proven and scalable, would have economic, social, and ethical implications.

Emerging on a stage with strong symbolic weight — the anniversary of the end of the war in the Pacific — the capture contrasts with the rigid script typical of major ceremonies in Beijing.

In addition to offering a rare glimpse into the improvisation among authoritarian leaders, the episode intersects two parallel messages: the display of military capability and the projection of a future agenda anchored in technology and longevity.

For observers, the coupling of these signals reinforces the attempt to shape global narratives amidst a time of trade tensions and geopolitical realignments.
