The Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) announced the opening of applications for a new public competition aimed at filling 19 positions for the Adjunct Professor role. The announcement was published in the Official Gazette of the Union and offers opportunities in various areas of knowledge. This competition aims to select candidates for positions in the Higher Education Teaching Career, under the Single Legal Regime of Public Servants of the Union.

The UFRRJ competition offers positions for Adjunct Professor in various academic areas.

The available positions are for Corporate Finance, Economic Theory, Statistics, Technology of Animal-Derived Products, Materials Engineering, General and Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Clinical Medicine of Ruminants, Veterinary Surgery, Poultry Farming, Swine Farming, Entomology, Molecular Genetics and Microorganisms, Amniote Zoology, Educational Policy, Philosophy of Education, Early Childhood Education, Childhood and Internships, and History Teaching and History of Education.

How To Apply For The UFRRJ Public Competition?

Applications for this public competition are open until October 15.

During this period, interested parties can submit their applications exclusively online, by accessing the official UFRRJ website.

The salary for the offered positions is R$ 10,481.64, as stipulated by the announcement.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of several stages, beginning with a written exam. Depending on the area, this exam may be accompanied by a practical exam, which will be eliminatory.

Additionally, there will be a didactic exam which is also eliminatory, and a title analysis, which will be classificatory.

The exams will be held on dates, times, and locations to be defined and announced later by the University.

Validity Of The New Competition From The Federal University

The validity of the competition is one year, counted from the date of publication of the results homologation notice in the Official Gazette of the Union.

However, the competition may be extended for an additional period of equal length, should the University so decide, according to its needs and internal regulations.

Selected candidates will occupy the positions of Adjunct Professor in the specified areas, contributing to the academic development and research at UFRRJ.
