Federal Institute of Roraima Offers 30 Positions for Substitute Teachers with Salaries Up to R$ 6,356.02; Applications Open Until November 22.

The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Roraima (IFRR) announced the opening of a new selection process aimed at filling 30 job vacancies for substitute teachers. This initiative was published in the Official Gazette of the Union on November 4. The notice No. 04/2024 presents the guidelines and details for applications and the conduct of the selection process, which aims to fill the available positions.

Those interested in participating in the selection process must submit their applications between November 6 and 22, 2024.

The registration for the selection process must be done exclusively online, on the IFRR website, and the application fee is R$ 100.00.

Salaries and Benefits Offered by the Federal Institute

The salaries for the positions of substitute teachers range from R$ 3,412.63 to R$ 6,356.02, depending on the candidate’s education and experience.

In addition to the salary, the Federal Institute offers additional benefits that are quite attractive.

Substitute teachers will have access to transportation assistance, preschool assistance, and a food allowance of R$ 1,000.00.

The work hours for these positions are 40 hours per week, making the proposal even more interesting for those seeking job opportunities in the education sector.

Subjects and Duration of the Federal Institute Contract

The selection process covers various teaching areas. The available positions are for subjects like Sociology, Philosophy, Physical Education, Portuguese Language, English Language, Mathematics, Nursing, Civil Engineering, among others.

The selection process is an opportunity for teachers working in these areas who seek positions in educational institutions.

The initial contract will last for twelve months, which may be renewed for another twelve months, depending on the needs of the IFRR administration.

The selection process will consist of a didactic performance assessment, which will be eliminatory and classificatory, and a title test, which will be only classificatory.

The didactic performance test will consist of an expositional class before an examining board, ensuring that the positions are filled by qualified professionals.

The IFRR emphasizes the importance of this selection to fill the teacher vacancies that will contribute to the education of students at the campuses of Amajari, Avança do Bonfim, Boa Vista, Boa Vista Zona Oeste, and Novo Paraíso.
