The Ministry of Education (MEC) is offering an incredible opportunity for those who wish to learn or improve their knowledge in foreign languages.

Applications are open for free courses in English, French, and Spanish in the distance learning modality (EaD). This is the perfect chance for anyone looking to enhance their resume and develop language skills from home.

The courses are primarily aimed at high school and college students, but anyone interested can participate.

Courses That Adapt to Your Routine

The aim of the MEC with these free courses is to democratize access to language learning. Students will have the flexibility to organize their studies and will receive quality teaching materials.

After enrollment, each participant receives an email with detailed information and access to the materials.

In addition to the courses in English, French, and Spanish, the MEC is also offering a course in Portuguese proficiency.

This training is particularly aimed at refugees, naturalized Brazilians, and anyone interested in improving their skills in the country’s official language.

How the Selection Process Works

One of the great advantages of these courses is that there is no selection process. Applications are open to all interested parties, provided they fill out the online form on the official MEC platform called Aprenda Mais. The only prerequisite is the desire to learn!

Once the application is completed, the student receives a confirmation email with instructions on how to access the courses and teaching materials.

Where to Apply

Applications can be made until December 31, 2024, directly on the Aprenda Mais platform. Simply access the category “Languages, Linguistics, and Literature” and select the desired course. The process is simple and quick.
