Opportunity For International Courses In Mexico: Registrations Open Until August 30 For Scholarships In Short-Term Courses 

The State University of Piauí (UESPI) has announced the opening of registrations for a scholarship program in short-term courses in Mexico. The initiative, developed in partnership with the Online International Collaboration (COIL) of the Mexican government, is open for applications until August 30 for UESPI students. The program aims to promote the development of intercultural and digital skills, as well as to ensure equal access to quality education.

Objectives And Impacts Of The Scholarship Program In Mexico

The UESPI scholarship program in partnership with COIL seeks to build permanent and long-term bridges of dialogue, enriching the Mexican academy with the presence of foreign students and scholars. The initiative also aims to promote the internationalization of the curriculum and the development of intercultural skills.

“The initiative will allow UESPI participants to absorb new learnings and, consequently, apply this knowledge in their activities upon returning to Brazil,” says Orlando Berti, International Relations Coordinator at UESPI.

Details And Benefits Of The Scholarships 

The scholarships offered in Mexico for the in-person modality have a value of R$ 3,960.00, intended to cover living expenses during stays ranging from 14 to 30 days. The selected candidates will be exempt from the cost of issuing the Mexican visa, as well as international airfare at the beginning and end of the activities. The program also covers domestic land or air transportation within Mexico, depending on the location of the educational institution.

Registration And Selection Process For Courses With Scholarships In Mexico

Those interested in courses with scholarships must register through the Academic Cooperation Management System (SIGCA) by August 30, 2024. The review and evaluation process of applications will take place from September 1 to September 12, 2024, with results expected to be announced between September 13 and September 20. The program activities will begin between October 1 and December 1.

This opportunity represents a significant step towards the internationalization of UESPI and the academic enrichment of its participants. The scholarships in Mexico not only provide financial support but also a unique learning and personal development experience in an international context.
