MEC Opens Opportunity with Daily Pay of Up to R$ 864, Including Distance Training, National Selection, and Extra Payment for Travel in Exceptional Demands.

The Ministry of Education (MEC) announced the opening of registrations for those interested in acting as certifiers for the application of the National High School Examination (Enem) 2025 and the National Teacher Examination (PND).

The initiative, led by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), offers a temporary work opportunity with payment of up to R$ 864 per day, intended for federal employees and teachers from state or municipal public schools.

The role is considered strategic to ensure the security and transparency of the examinations, which are among the largest assessment processes in the country.

The Enem 2025 will take place on November 9 and 16, except in Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba (PA), where it will happen on November 30 and December 7, due to COP-30.

The PND is scheduled for October 26.

Why It Is Worth Being a Certifier

In addition to contributing to the integrity of national assessments, certifiers receive attractive financial compensation.

The value of the regular daily rate is R$ 510, corresponding to an approximately 12-hour shift.

In cases of travel over 150 km from the municipality of origin, the remuneration increases to R$ 864 per day, classified as exceptional demand.

Payment is made via Course or Contest Charge Gratification (GECC) for federal employees and Educational Assessment Assistance (AAE) for public school teachers.

What a Certifier Does

The professional oversees the entire process of exam administration in person.

Tasks include:

  • Monitoring the opening and closing of gates
  • Checking exam packages
  • Verifying participants’ documentation
  • Sending real-time reports via application

The certifier must also report any irregularities, ensuring strict adherence to the protocols established by Inep.

Who Can Participate

The following are eligible to participate:

  • Active federal public servants governed by Law No. 8,112/1990
  • Effective teachers from state or municipal public schools, in service in 2025
  • Those who have at least completed high school
  • Those with a smartphone or tablet with mobile internet, with Android 5.1 or iOS 10 or higher
  • Those who are not registered for the Enem or the PND 2025
  • Those who do not have relatives up to the third degree registered in either of the exams

How the Selection Process Works

The process involves:

  • Mandatory distance training, with a minimum of 70% pass rate
  • Announcement of the course call scheduled for July 14
  • Final selection based on local needs

If there are more eligible candidates than available positions, Inep will use the following criteria:

  1. Previous experience as a certifier
  2. Best performance in the course
  3. Lottery, if necessary

Advantages of the Role

The work guarantees enriching experience in public service and strengthens the resume with experience in large educational events.

Additionally, it represents an excellent way to supplement the income of education professionals.

Frequently Asked Questions About Acting as an Enem Certifier

How many days can I serve as a certifier?
It depends on the call and local needs. It may include the PND and both stages of the Enem.

Do I need to travel to another municipality?
It is possible. If the chosen municipality has few registrants, Inep may call professionals from outside, with a higher daily rate in case of travel over 150 km.

Is there assistance for transportation and meals?
No. The daily rate covers all expenses, which are the responsibility of the certifier.

Does being approved in the course guarantee me a spot?
No. The call depends on regional demand.

Can I choose which exam to follow?
Yes, during registration, but the final decision rests with Inep.

What happens if I withdraw after being called?
Unjustified withdrawals may prevent participation in future editions of the RNC.

How will I know if I was called?
Information is published on the official Inep portal. Monitoring is the responsibility of the candidate.

How to Register

Registrations are open until June 30, 2025, exclusively through the official website certificadores.inep.gov.br.

The candidate must fill in their details, indicate up to three municipalities of interest, and confirm that they meet all requirements.
