A New Era for Health: Macaé D’Or Hospital Brings Innovation and Opportunities for the Community!

The Macaé D’Or Hospital was inaugurated with an impressive investment of R$ 300 million, promising not only a leap in healthcare quality but also the creation of 1,500 new direct jobs. This new unit of Rede D’Or is a significant milestone for health in the region and begins serving the public in the second half of November, according to prensadebabel.

Impact and Importance of the New Hospital

With the aim of becoming a center of medical excellence, the hospital will feature 143 beds and a planned expansion for an additional 84 beds, along with 10 surgical rooms and sectors dedicated to emergency care, pediatrics, and obstetrics. “It’s a giant step for local health!” states Paulo Junqueira Moll, CEO of Rede D’Or, highlighting the positive impact the unit will have on the city. Macaé, traditionally known for its strong oil and gas sector and the presence of academic courses in health, will see a considerable improvement in economic development and health professional training.

The mayor Welberth Rezende also celebrated the arrival of Macaé D’Or, emphasizing the importance of the simplification that facilitated the installation of the unit. “Macaé continues to stand out as an attractive hub for investments in health, infrastructure, and business!” he added.

Consolidation in the Economic Scenario

Rodrigo Viana, Secretary of Economic Development, highlighted that the choice of Macaé by the Rede Atlântica D’Or consolidates the municipality in the national economic scenario. “This not only adds value to the local economy but also expands access to high-complexity health services!” The arrival of the hospital promises to transform the city’s dynamics, providing more opportunities and health services for the population.
