A Highly Dangerous and Large-Scale Fire is Currently Happening at the Manguinhos Refinery in the North Zone of Rio Today (17). According to the responsible operational monitoring agencies in Rio de Janeiro, the fire began at 1:30 PM. The Firefighters Requested That Residents Evacuate the Area Surrounding the Refinery While the Flames Are Being Controlled. Many Slums and Communities Borders the Refinery. The Smoke Can Be Seen from Various Locations in RJ. The Lateral Lane to Avenida Brasil Has Been Closed to Prevent Civil Flow, and There Are Also Closures at Some Points Along the Linha Amarela. According to Lamsa, Route 9A is Completely Closed and the Best Option for Now is to Exit via 10A.
