It Is Expected That Sine de Itaboraí Will Definitively Be the Contractor for the Labor of the Comperj Project in 2019, Representatives Ahead of the Enterprise Are Optimistic

Last week, the advisory team for Comperj received at the SINE (National Employment System) agency, representatives from KERUI PETROLEUM, the Chinese company responsible for the construction of the UPGN (Natural Gas Processing Unit) in Itaboraí-RJ. The agenda of the meeting focused on the hiring of labor, to be employed in this project, through SINE. Transparency, impartiality, and all possible clarifications were elements that guided the meeting.

It was recorded the social security benefits granted to workers hired by SINE, which were highlighted and reinforced in this meeting (law 8.213/91 in its art. 15 paragraph two).

In light of the above, as well as respecting the deadline agreed upon with the aforementioned company, it is expected that from 2019 the hiring for the UPGN will be directed through SINE. See some photos from the meeting below:

It is worth noting that this meeting focused solely on potential hiring for labor from Kerui – Method for the construction of the UPGN; other companies that operated in Comperj multilaterally, such as General Electric (GE), Locar, McDermott, EBSE, ECB, and MIP among others that you can check by accessing a brief summary of them here, will hire independently for specific technical activities depending on the phase of the project.
