The Role of Constellation Technologies & Operations (CTO)
CTO relies on Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) satellites, which are significantly closer to the Earth than traditional geostationary satellites. This reduces connection response time, ensuring a smoother online experience.
CTO’s pilot project, called Early Test, is a “regenerative payload,” meaning a system capable of processing and retransmitting internet signals directly from space. This technology will be an essential pillar for the space 5G mmWave infrastructure.
The Historic Launch of the Satellite
