A Abreu e Lima Refinery (RNEST)located in Ipojuca (PE), is today a fundamental milestone in the Brazilian energy transition. O Business Plan 2025-2029 destine US $ 19,6 billion for projects like the revamp of Train 1, scheduled for March 2025, and the completion of the Train 2 by 2029. SNOx: A Pioneering Innovation in Green Energy
With an investment of R $ million 520, SNOx technology, inaugurated in November 2023, is one of the most advanced in the sector. In addition, it provides significant benefits, such as reducing emissions by up to 99% for SOx e 95% for NOx. In this way, the refinery consolidates its position as a reference, also generating economic value with the production of sulfuric acid and the use of steam as an energy source.
