Ford launched the 2.5 hybrid 4×4 variant, delivering 194 hp and 28.5 kgfm of torque, paired with an automatic transmission, providing a smooth and efficient ride.
The hybrid system combines the combustion engine with the electric motor offering the best of both worlds: power and economy. In urban environments, the electric motor can be used predominantly, significantly reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. New Pickup Makes Debut in Automotive Market Towing Up to 1,814 Kg
One of the most important features for pickup owners is towing and payload capacity. Thus, the hybrid 4×4 version of the new 2025 Maverick pickup underwent some adjustments in these areas compared to the 2.0 turbo option.
With the addition of the four-wheel drive system and the optional towing package, the towing capacity increased from 907 kg to an impressive 1,814 kg, matching the combustion model.
However, the payload capacity slightly decreased from 680 kg to 635 kg. These numbers show that Ford is committed to providing a pickup that is not only fuel-efficient but also meets the needs of customers who use the vehicle for heavy-duty work. The increased towing capacity is especially useful for those who need to transport trailers, boats, or other large equipment.
