Sdrill do Brasil announced on Monday (20) new job openings for the position of pipe welder, and according to the company, the opportunities are for the cities of Macaé and Rio das Ostras, in RJ. The company stands out for providing complete solutions in lifting equipment and offers various products, accessories, and equipment for material handling.

Sdrill Highlights the Desired Profile of the Pipe Welder

According to Sdrill, those hired for the job vacancies in Macaé and Rio das Ostras (RJ) will be responsible for cutting and joining pieces of metal alloys, using welding and cutting processes such as: Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Oxyacetylene, TIG, and MIG. They prepare equipment, consumables, welding accessories, and parts to be welded.

Additionally, they must apply safety standards regarding organizing the environment and workplace. For those who wish to apply for the pipe welder positions in Macaé and Rio das Ostras (RJ), they must have completed high school, at least two years of experience in the role using Shielded Metal Arc Welding, and proof of certification in a pipe welder course from a recognized institution with: Welding; Reading and Interpreting Mechanical Drawings in Boiler Making and CBSP.
