Keppel Shipyard was contracted to manufacture, complete and integrate the topside modules and mooring support structure for Modec's Floating Storage and Offloading Unit (FPSO) for projects in Brazil. As everyone knows, its subsidiary representative is the Brasfels shipyard, located in Angra dos Reis, RJ. This means an additional reinforcement in shipbuilding works in RJ, and that new job vacancies may arise.

Keppel reported that components for the modules and structure are scheduled to arrive in Q3 2020 for completion, as well as integration and installation with the FPSO hull, which is expected at the shipyard in Q4.
