The selected candidate will work under a CLT regime, with a competitive salary of R$ 3,814.97 per month, for a workload of 30 hours per week.
Selection Process
The selection process for the job vacancy at SESI-SP has well-defined stages, and communication with candidates will be conducted exclusively by email. Librarian I in Garça or Mogi das Cruzes-SP
The Librarian I professional at SESI-SP will be responsible for essential functions for the operation of the school library of the unit. Their activities include Public Service for youth, user study, technical processing, and circulation of the collection. Additionally, the main focus will be on the development, planning, and execution of reading promotion and cultural diversity activities. The workload is 30 hours per week, with specific hours for each location: at the Garça Unit, work will be Monday: from 10 AM to 4 PM and from Tuesday to Friday: from 8 AM to 2 PM. At the Mogi das Cruzes Unit, the schedule is Monday and Tuesday: from 7 AM to 1:15 PM, Wednesday and Thursday: from 12:15 PM to 6:30 PM, and Friday: from 10:30 AM to 4:45 PM. The type of contract will be CLT, which may be for a Fixed or Indefinite Term, information that will be detailed at the time of the offer.

Requirements for the Position
To apply for the job vacancy of Librarian I at SESI, it is mandatory to have: Complete Higher Education in Library Science; experience as a Librarian or intern in a school library; and an active Professional Registration with the Regional Council of Library Science – CRB 8th Region. Besides the formal requirements, the candidate is expected to demonstrate competencies in reading promotion strategies for the youth audience, mastery of automated collection management systems, knowledge of legislation in the area of activity, reading and writing skills (including report writing and reviews), and familiarity with Office Suite and the internet.
