Siemens and Aker Solutions Sign Strategic Collaboration Agreement to Further Develop Digital Offerings in Engineering, Operations, and Services
The collaboration focuses on creating software applications and joint service offerings, including the development of industrial digital twins that will drive efficiency throughout the plant life cycle. Additionally, the companies will develop sector-specific offerings for the oil and gas industry based on Siemens’ Comos engineering platform. These solutions will help clients reduce engineering and operational costs and enable better decision-making.
The agreement is built on a successful and enduring relationship between the two companies, combining individual strengths and promoting joint offerings.
Aker Solutions will bring its expertise in domain and sector-specific digital offerings in field development, asset performance, and integrity, while Siemens will provide a wide range of digital offerings for process industries – from automation equipment to engineering and simulation applications.
