Councilor Seeking to Ensure the Heating of Macaé’s Economy and Avoid Issues Similar to Comperj, Wants the 10,000 Jobs to Be for City Residents
On the last day of April 12 (Friday), the councilor of Macaé, Robson Oliveira, stated that he will file a request for the construction companies that will carry out their activities in building the thermoelectric plants in the city to hire a percentage of 90% of the workforce from the municipality.
According to Robson, the projects will create around ten thousand job vacancies during the construction: “Everyone knows that unemployment affects thousands of families in Macaé. We will demand that these vacancies go to our people,” Robson emphasized.
