With an investment of R$ 150 million, the new Suspensys factory in Mogi Guaçu starts producing axles for Mercedes-Benz, expands Randoncorp’s operations, and strengthens the industrial chain in São Paulo
The Suspensys factory was inaugurated this week in Mogi Guaçu, in the interior of São Paulo, with an investment of R$ 150 million. The unit produces front axles for Mercedes-Benz trucks and buses and expands Randoncorp’s industrial presence.
New unit in Mogi Guaçu
The factory covers 15,000 m² and was born from an exclusive supply contract with Mercedes-Benz for front axles in Brazil. The product uses the automaker’s design, which retains the rights to it.
Matthias Kaeding, vice president of Mercedes-Benz, stated that exclusivity was chosen for this condition. He said that this axle will be exclusive to the company in the Brazilian market.

Production for trucks and buses
In addition to serving Mercedes-Benz trucks and buses, the unit has also started manufacturing axles for Randoncorp semi-trailers. The operation is preparing to supply parts to other automakers.
Kaeding stated that the nationalization of production reduces costs and reorganizes the supply chain.
He mentioned that Mercedes-Benz will be able to focus its efforts on other stages, while the complexity of the front axle will remain with Suspensys.
Logistics center and expansion
The factory now includes a logistics center focused on the distribution of replacement parts. The industrial land totals 250,000 m² and still offers space for future expansions.
Designed with greater automation compared to the company’s previous operations, the unit currently works with more than 150 variations of axles. The structure reinforces the industrial operation established in Mogi Guaçu.
Larger plan of Randoncorp with the factory
The venture is part of a broad investment cycle by Randoncorp in the interior of São Paulo. The project involves other companies in the group, such as Castertech and Frasle Mobility.
In total, the company plans to invest R$ 350 million in this front, as reported by the president. With the new unit, Mercedes-Benz gains local supply.
