The Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) has just announced a selection process for the Distance Learning Pedagogy course, offering 210 slots for those wishing to start their degree in 2025.
The course will be offered in a distance learning format (EAD), providing an excellent opportunity for those seeking flexibility without compromising the quality of education.
According to official notice 47/2024, the course will be part of the Open University of Brazil (UAB) System, guaranteeing high-quality education with modern methodology adapted to student needs.
The program will be completed in four years, combining online classes with in-person meetings at regional centers, allowing students to receive a comprehensive quality education while enjoying the convenience of studying from home.
Where Are the Available Slots?
The slots are distributed across different regional centers to facilitate access for students. The cities included are:
Minas Gerais:
- Araguari: 40 slots
- Patos de Minas: 40 slots
- Uberaba: 40 slots
- Uberlândia: 50 slots
- São Paulo:
- Viradouro: 40 slots
Additionally, UFU also adopts a system of quotas, allowing the inclusion of students from public schools, Black, Brown, Indigenous individuals, and people with disabilities, ensuring greater diversity in academic admission.
Selection Process and Stages
Applications for the EAD Pedagogy course will be open from December 16, 2024 to January 2, 2025.
To participate, it is necessary to fill out an online form on UFU’s Selection Portal, and the application fee is R$ 117.00.
For those who can prove low income, there is a possibility of fee exemption, making access to the course even easier.
The selection process will be divided into two stages:
High School Grade Evaluation
The first stage will be the analysis of grades in Portuguese Language and Mathematics from the last year of high school, with the requirement to submit the transcript at the time of application.
Online Essay Test
The second stage will be an essay test scheduled for January 19, 2025, from 2 PM to 3 PM. The essay will be conducted online and will carry significant weight in the final selection.
