The Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) published two new selection process notices on Thursday (26), with a total of 175 vacancies at FIOCRUZ, including 130 for non-mandatory internships and 45 for mandatory internships. Who Can Participate in the Selection Process and Compete for Vacancies at Fiocruz?
Students interested in the vacancies at Fiocruz must be regularly enrolled in higher education institutions, between the 3rd and 10th semester. Of the total vacancies available, there will be a reserve for people with disabilities (10%), for black students (30%), for indigenous people (5%), and for transgender individuals (5%).
The mandatory internship program at Fiocruz is exclusively for students regularly enrolled in higher education institutions (undergraduate courses) or high school/vocational education, whose mandatory workload is a requirement for approval and obtaining a diploma, in accordance with the curricular guidelines of the stage, modality, teaching area, and pedagogical project of the course in which the student is enrolled.

Applications for the Selection Process of Vacancies at Fiocruz Will Close in October
Those interested in participating in the selection process and working at Fiocruz must visit the website of the Company-School Integration Center (CIEE) and register their resume at the links for the Non-Mandatory Internship Program and the Mandatory Internship Program of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation. Applications will remain open until October 16.
As a form of assessment, applicants for the Fiocruz selection process will be subjected to curriculum and documentation evaluation, interviews, tests, group dynamics, or other selection techniques that the unit responsible for the vacancy deems appropriate, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, following the criteria established in the notice. Compensation for Those Approved in the Selection Process
The compensation offered to those approved in the selection process ranges from R$ 486.05 to R$ 1,665.22 per month, fluctuating according to the internship workload, but is applicable only to students in non-mandatory internships.
According to the notice for vacancies at Fiocruz, the mandatory internship will be carried out without the granting of an internship scholarship, although transportation assistance and personal accident insurance benefits will be provided.
It is worth mentioning that the Company-School Integration Center (CIEE) is a civil association of private law, non-profit and non-economic purposes, recognized as a social assistance entity that, through various programs, including learning and student internships, enables adolescents and young people to have a comprehensive education, integrating them into the job market.
