Next Public Contest of Petrobras on the Way, Offering Thousands of Positions for High School Candidates in Various Locations.

Celebrate! The long-awaited announcement of the new public contest of Petrobras has just been published today (26) in the official gazette of the Union. Although the initially announced offer was for 458 positions, the high school contest has a total of 6,412 positions, with 916 for immediate filling and 5,496 for the formation of a reserve list for personnel in various positions, all requiring technical high school education.

List of Open Positions in the New Petrobras Contest

The basic salary in the high school contest is R$ 3,446.23 with a guaranteed minimum remuneration of R$ 5,878.82. Applications can be made from December 28 to January 31, 2024. In the public contest of Petrobras, the allocation of the positions is in all states where the state-owned company operates or plans to operate, focusing on immediate filling in the following locations:

Espírito Santo;
Rio Grande do Sul;
Minas Gerais;
Pernambuco;
Rio de Janeiro;
São Paulo;
Paraná.

EMPHASIS 5: MAINTENANCE – ELECTRICAL (56 + 336 CR);
EMPHASIS 6: MAINTENANCE – INSTRUMENTATION (58 + 348 CR);
EMPHASIS 7: MAINTENANCE – MECHANICAL (78 + 468 CR);
EMPHASIS 8: OPERATION (254 + 1,524 CR);
EMPHASIS 9: BALLAST OPERATION (16 + 96 CR);

Guide on How to Participate in the Petrobras High School Contest

The registrations for the Petrobras public contest can only be done online, on the page of the organizing body, Cebraspe. On the first day of registrations for the Petrobras contest, access will be allowed from 10 AM, while on the last day it will be until 6 PM. The registration fee is R$ 62.79 and payment can be made until February 21.

The application of the objective tests for the Petrobras contest is scheduled to be held on March 24, in the afternoon, lasting four hours. The objective test for the high school contest will consist of 100 questions, divided into 40 basic knowledge questions and 60 specific knowledge questions.

The basic knowledge section will cover the subjects of Portuguese language and mathematics, thereafter, the public contest will consist of the following stages, including multiprofessional assessment and hetero-identification process.
