The job openings for professionals with and without experience in Votuporanga (SP), according to the company’s Human Resources department, are for the following positions:

  • Electrician
  • Eletromechanics Technician
  • Mechanical Supervisor
  • Electrical Supervisor
  • Diesel Assembly Mechanic
  • Assembly Mechanic.

It is worth noting that all these job openings for the solar plant in SP require experience in the field. The positions for professionals without experience are only for the general helper role, which also does not require a course. Starting in November 2020, the new plants in Votuporanga (SP) will have the capacity to produce 112.5 MW of energy. This capacity will generate clean energy to power more than 125 thousand homes.

The project in Votuporanga uses solar light, which is a clean and sustainable source, according to the Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy (Absolar). In addition to contributing to environmental preservation by reducing carbon dioxide emissions and other pollutants in the atmosphere, photovoltaic solar energy also helps in saving money and in electric energy for consumers.

SP Government Encourages Investments In The Solar Energy Market

The São Paulo city hall intends to equip about 775 schools in the city with solar generation panels, and the project is already being put into action. The project is part of the first contract for solar energy supply service, which will be signed within a month so that 80 Basic Health Units will also receive clean energy.

A 25-year contract will be signed for R$ 171.4 thousand or R$ 2 million per year. Initially, the solar energy panels will only reach 80 Basic Health Units, but later, with self-consumption, another 92 units may participate in the project, totaling 172 units.

In the first year of the project in SP, about 5.5 GWh will be produced through the installation of 3.45 MW of installed capacity. In these 25 years of contract, it is projected that approximately 160 thousand tons of CO2 emissions will be reduced, in addition to a savings of R$ 75 million in electricity costs.
