Knowledge in:
- Preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance in substations
- Electrical testing on substation equipment
- Reading single-line diagrams, functional diagrams, and technical drawings
- Technical writing
Competencies:
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and testing on substation yard equipment
- Maintenance/Replacement of electromechanical equipment
- Complete reports and technical forms
- Support operations
Requirements:
- Technical degree or diploma in electrical engineering, electromechanical engineering, or related fields.
- Active CREA registration
Senior Maintenance Technician
Knowledge in:
- Preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance in conventional and SF6 “CASTLE” substations
- Philosophies and functions of protection and control systems in electrical systems
- Electrical testing on substation equipment
- Reading single-line diagrams, functional diagrams, and technical drawings
- Technical writing

Competencies:
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and testing on substation yard equipment
- Maintenance/Replacement of electromechanical equipment
- Data collection from oscillography in digital relays and disturbance recorders
- Complete reports and technical forms
- Support operations
Requirements:
- Technical degree or diploma in electrical engineering, electromechanical engineering, or related fields
- Preferred experience in maintenance of conventional and SF6 “CASTLE” substations
- Active CREA registration
