Soichi Ide Concluded His Presentation at Rio Oil & Gas That Brazil Is a Country of Great Potential for MODEC
On the last day of Rio Oil & Gas, MODEC’s Vice President, Soichi Ide, gave a lecture on the lessons learned from FPSO operations, focusing on the digitalization of operations and the future of the market. After the trade fair’s visitor panel, he chaired an open session that gathered more than 150 people at the MODEC booth. Ide provided a brief history of MODEC since its arrival in Brazil in 2003 and shared experiences and peculiarities of the national market, discussing the company’s evolution over the years and his vision for the future.
For Ide, the future is digital. That is why he stated that MODEC’s focus is to develop intelligent offshore solutions where the digital transformation elements are concentrated on the collection, analysis, and application of data regarding each stage of operation, a process that includes the intelligent management of people, infrastructure, logistics, engineering, production, and maintenance.
The vice president concluded his presentation by reminding that Brazil is a country of great potential and that MODEC invests in developing solutions aimed at improving the performance and efficiency of facilities, enhancing the quality of its work processes, and the safety of its professional ventures.
