The Anticipated Yamaha Ténéré 700 Launches in Stores in October, with Reservations Starting in March and Initial Batch Sold Out in Just 25 Minutes. Discover Design, Technology, and Prices.

The Yamaha Ténéré 700 is set to arrive at Brazilian dealerships in October 2025. The manufacturer confirmed that, after opening reservations in March, the initial batch of 150 units sold out in just 25 minutes. It is a model that combines rally roots with modern sophistication and brings down power to meet national standards.

The goal of Yamaha is to meet the pent-up demand with cutting-edge technology and a striking personality.

Flash Pre-order and Arrival in Stores

The pre-order for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 began on March 31, 2025. In an impressive 25 minutes, the first batch was completely reserved, confirming the high interest from Brazilian motorcyclists.

Domestic production will start in August at the Manaus (AM) factory. The expectation is that the first units will arrive at dealerships between September and October 2025.

Technologies and Rally-Inspired Engine

The Yamaha Ténéré 700 features a 689 cm³ CP2 two-cylinder engine with liquid cooling, delivering about 68.9 hp at 9,000 rpm and 6.6 kgfm of torque at 6,500 rpm.

It incorporates the YCC-T electronic throttle (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle) for more precise response and adjustable riding modes — alongside traction control — and a 6-speed manual transmission.

Robust Suspension and Adjustable Ergonomics

The design of the Yamaha Ténéré 700 is tailored for trails and rough roads.

The front suspension features fully adjustable 43 mm inverted forks – compression, rebound, and preload – with a travel of 210 mm and a ground clearance of 240 mm.

The rear suspension has a progressive linkage and also allows fine adjustments. This ensures stability and comfort, even on extreme terrains.

TFT Digital Panel and Connectivity

The 6.3″ color TFT panel of the Yamaha Ténéré 700 offers two interface modes: EXPLORER (adventure-focused) and STREET (with a more classic style).

It displays navigation, calls, music, as well as fuel and speed gauges.

Connectivity via the Y-Connect app allows control of everything without taking hands off the handlebars, using an ergonomic joystick.

A waterproof USB-C port ensures that the rider can charge devices even on long trips.

Rally-Inspired Design and Ergonomics

With robust and aerodynamic rally-inspired lines, the Yamaha Ténéré 700 stands out with high fairings, stacked LED headlights in a “Y” structure, and a tank shifted forward to improve ergonomics and weight distribution.

The 21″ front wheel reinforces the off-road profile.

Specifications and Initial Offer

  • Suggested Price: R$ 72.990 (without freight).
  • Warranty: 4 years.
  • Service: Fixed Price.
  • Available Colors: Racing Blue, Frozen Titanium, Sky Blue.

What Makes the Yamaha Ténéré 700 So Desirable?

The arrival of the Yamaha Ténéré 700 represents more than just a launch — it is the sum of rally heritage, accessible technology, and design adapted to Brazilian challenges.

The high speed at which the initial batch sold out shows the appetite for a versatile, robust, and connected motorcycle.

Local production also makes the model more affordable and with predictable maintenance.

Now, the big expectation is about the number of new batches and when they will be available.
