The State of Minas Gerais Will Receive Significant Reinforcements This Year to Attract More Companies That Use Logistics as One of the Main Factors to Keep the Market Competitive.
The company estimates that 2,500 to 3,000 jobs will be created directly for the mining industry when the facilities are operational.
The company will grow a larger hub for the 3,000 direct jobs. With the support of the government of the state of Minas Gerais, through Invest Minas, an agency linked to the National Secretariat for Economic Development (headquarters), the company is preparing to start construction of a logistics apartment in February in the city of Betim, in the Belo Horizonte Metropolitan Region (RMBH).
The first phase invested 130 million reais to build a development zone of 42,000 square meters. Another building, with construction expected to begin this year, will be located in Extrema, Southern Minas, with an area of over 75,000 square meters and an investment of 225 million reais.

Fulwood is one of the main operators of logistics industrial apartments in Brazil, having built over 1 million square meters of warehouses throughout the country. Since 2013, the company has operated logistics apartments in the city of Extrema, in Southern Minas Gerais. Major brands that already use this structure include Mercado Livre, Frigelar, and Tok Stok.
Sector on the Rise
Such investments make the real estate development sector one of the five most attractive sectors for investment in Minas Gerais in 2022, reaching R$ 2 billion. It is also estimated that the projects will generate over 7,000 direct jobs when completed.
There is no doubt that, for business leaders, Minas Gerais is today the main hub for new business in the sector and will increasingly attract companies interested in gaining competitiveness.
