On the last Monday, it was announced that the state of Goiás will receive investments of R$ 305 million from BRF and Funcional Logística, where more than 5,500 new jobs may be generated. The Investments of the Industries in the State of Goiás

Ronaldo Caiado says that the state has only one position: to defend those who want to invest in Goiás. He states that there must be harmony between the government, businessmen, industries, merchants, and job generation, which is the ultimate goal. The investments of the industries in the state of Goiás will amount to R$ 305 million, and the jobs should benefit Buriti Alegre, Mineiros, Rio Verde, Jataí, Americano do Brasil, and Piracanjuba.

According to the “Mais Goiás” portal, the SIC (Secretary of Industry and Commerce) informed about the two companies that signed the agreements: BRF, which is already established in Goiás and intends to expand its activities; and Funcional Logística, which plans to install a photovoltaic plant. The department also indicated that the forecast for the start of the plant implementation is this year.

Municipalities in Goiás Benefited by Investments and Job Creation

André Chaves, mayor of Buriti Alegre and appointed to represent the other municipalities in Goiás that will receive investments, said that the only word could be “gratitude.” He further states that he knows that jobs are the best social program a municipality and a state can receive.
