PRONATEC/FUNECE Teaching Coordinator Discusses IT Job Openings
“This is a pilot project, and the State University of Ceará is one of seven educational institutions chosen across Brazil to participate in the program, selected for its expertise in offering free IT courses, in Distance Education (EAD), and in the professional development of young people. More than just technical training, UECE is concerned with helping students develop skills and prepare for entering and remaining in the job market,” emphasizes the Teaching Coordinator of PRONATEC/FUNECE and also professor, Germana Paixão.
The 296 spots for the free courses offered by the State University of Ceará will be divided among three EAD courses in the IT area: Systems Programmer (136 spots), Web Programmer (136 spots), and Mobile Devices Programmer (24 spots). Each course will last approximately 200 hours. Classes are expected to start on May 10.
