The vacancies in the Army Complementary Training School (ESFCEx) contest are for the upper level. The application period closes on the 5th of August

The Brazilian Army announced the opening of registration for the admission contest of the Army Complementary Training School (ESFCEx). There are 167 vacancies of higher education, with 45 vacancies for Military Chaplain and Complementary Staff and 122 for Health Service.

About the Army School of Health and Complementary Training (ESFCEx)

The Army Complementary Training School (ESFCEx) was created on April 5, 1988 in the city of Salvador (BA), as a military education establishment that prepares human resources of both sexes, particularly in the field of military administration, in order to to contribute to the improvement of administrative procedures within the scope of the Army.

ESFCEx aims to meet the needs of Military Organizations with higher-level personnel to, as a priority, carry out complementary activities in the areas of Administration, Accounting, Social Communication, Law, Economics, Nursing, Statistics, Pharmacy, Information Technology, Teaching, Dentistry, Psychology, Pedagogy and Veterinary.

ESFCEx has facilities to receive students who take the training course for officers of the Complementary Staff of the Army and the Health Service in the areas of Dentistry and Pharmacy.

In 1992, ESFCEx became the first officer school in the Brazilian Army to accept female students. The Maria Quitéria class had 49 women and was a great advance for the time.

Complementary Staff and Military Chaplain

O competition for admission to these positions has 45 vacancies. Both male and female candidates are allowed for the Complementary Staff and Evangelical Chaplain vacancies, whereas for the Catholic Chaplain vacancies only male candidates are allowed. In addition, some positions require an age of 20 to 40 years, others up to 32 years, until December 31 of the year of registration, as written in article 141 of the public notice. It is also necessary to have a university degree in the areas disclosed in the public notice.

Health Service

The admission competition for these positions has 122 vacancies. For the ESFCEX health service contest, male or female candidates are allowed, aged between 32 and 34 years old, depending on the position, as written in article 141 of the public notice. It is also necessary to have a higher level theological training course and to be a Catholic priest or evangelical pastor.
