All Offshore Positions Are For Oil And Gas Activities In DOF Management AS Operations In Rio De Janeiro

DOF Management AS announced through its official news outlet, on this day August 16, offshore positions for projects in Rio de Janeiro. The professionals requested today by DOF are Deckhand and Electrical Technician, all details will follow.

Last month, an unprecedented episode occurred, the ROV of multinational DOF Subsea was dragged by the force of the undertow to the beach on the coast of Rio de Janeiro. The area had to be cordoned off to ensure the safety of residents and beachgoers.

About The Offshore Positions In Rio De Janeiro

Deckhand

  • Maritime Training, STCW II/5
  • Experience as a Deckhand on offshore vessels; Desired experience in PLSV, Light Construction Vessel,
  • Drilling Ships or Maritime Units;
  • TBS-1 Certificate
  • EBCP Certificate
  • Desirable certificates: CESS, CERR, MCIA, HUET, Confined Space, Work and Rescue at Height, Hot Work, Load Handling, Safety and Load Operations, and Level I Crane Certificate.
  • Desired experience with rescue boats.

Electrical Technician

    • Technician in Electronics, Electrotechnics or similar course.
    • Intermediate English
    • Desired experience on AHTS vessels, PLSV or on more modern vessels
    • CBSP Certificate
    • Desirable Certificates NR-33 (minimum 16h), NR-35, CERR, CESS

Some Of The Activities

  • Comply with the descriptions in the “Permanent Orders from the Chief Engineer”;
  • Maintain all electric and lighting equipment and installations in proper working order; Inspect in advance the communication systems, lighting, cranes, winches, all electrical and electronic automation and control equipment, keeping them always in good working condition;
  • Execute the scheduled maintenance for installations related to your activity and necessary repairs
