FABRICATOR WELDER

The welding professional joins and cuts pieces of metal alloys using welding and cutting processes such as shielded metal arc, TIG, MIG, MAG, oxy-fuel, submerged arc, brazing, and plasma. They prepare equipment, accessories, welding and cutting consumables, and parts to be welded. They apply strict safety standards, workplace organization, and environmental considerations.

The fabricator welder manufactures, repairs, and installs various components in metal sheets such as steel, galvanized iron, copper, tin, brass, aluminum, and zinc; they manufacture or repair boilers, tanks, reservoirs, and other containers made of steel sheets. They cut, shape, and work with profiled bars of ferrous and non-ferrous materials to manufacture parts.
