The State Agency for Agricultural Defense of Bahia (ADAB) announced the realization of a new public competition, scheduled for 2025, with 200 vacancies for different levels of education. Governor Jerônimo Rodrigues made the announcement during the 33rd National Fair of Agriculture, reinforcing the state’s commitment to strengthening agricultural defense and promoting a more sustainable agribusiness, according to the site Brasil Perfil.

With opportunities for professionals with higher and technical education, the competition promises to attract candidates interested in contributing to the agricultural development of the state.

What Are the Available Vacancies in the Competition in Bahia?

Of the 200 vacancies, 160 are external for professionals in Veterinary Medicine and Agronomic Engineering, offering payments of R$ 6.5 thousand with included bonuses.

Stages of the Selection Process Offered in the State of Bahia

The selection process must follow a pattern similar to that of the last competition, held in February 2024. The expected stages include:

Objective Test:
It will cover general and specific knowledge related to the offered positions, being eliminatory and classificatory.
Discursive Test:
Candidates may be evaluated through essays or dissertative questions involving technical topics related to agricultural defense.
Title Evaluation (for higher education positions):
This stage evolved in contact with candidates’ academic training and professional experience, awarding extra points to those more involved.

The foundation responsible for organizing the competition will still be announced, but a renowned commission is expected to ensure transparency and quality in the process.

How Was the Last Competition of ADAB?

The February 2024 competition offered 160 vacancies for State Agricultural Inspector and Agricultural Inspection Technician, with applications between February and April and tests conducted in June. The organization was the responsibility of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), recognized for excellence in selection processes.

The 2024 selection highlighted the importance of specific knowledge and practical skills, which should be repeated in the 2025 edition.
