Memorandum of Understanding Could Lead to E2 Jet Manufacturing in the Country and Increase Embraer’s Global Presence
Embraer (EMBR3) announced on Tuesday (1st) amemorandum of understanding with Turkish Aerospace to explore a potential industrial cooperation. The partnership may include the production of E2 family jets in Turkey, strengthening the Brazilian manufacturer’s presence in the global market, according to the website Info Money.
A Strategic Alliance for Innovation
Embraer is seeking new suppliers and strategic partners to keep up with the increasing demand for its aircraft. In this scenario, Turkish Aerospace stands out as a potential ally, bringing expertise in manufacturing and assembling metal and composite structures, final assembly of fuselages, development of components, as well as involvement in test flights, production, and aircraft painting.
This cooperation between the companies could also expand to initiatives in research and development (R&D), significantly contributing to strengthening innovation and competitiveness in the aerospace sector.
