Job Openings at Ambev Are Part of the Second Edition of the Mulher.Ada Tech Program, Which Seeks Experienced Women Professionals in the Technology Field
Ambev announces the start of the second edition of the Mulher.Ada Tech program, aimed exclusively at hiring women in the technology field. Last year, the program opened job openings for women (cis, trans, transvestites, and non-binary) for leadership positions in the company.
In total, over 11,000 women applied. In 2022, Ambev is looking for senior professionals with more than four years of experience for software architecture and C#, Java, or React development positions. There are more than 50 job openings available.
The name “Mulher.Ada” was inspired by Ada Lovelace (1815-1852), a mathematician known for being the first programmer and author of the first algorithm in history.

Ambev was born from the merger of Companhia Antarctica and Cervejaria Brahma in 1999, but its history goes back further, to when they were two breweries, dating back to 1880. The selected candidates will have the following responsibilities in the roles: Be part of the planning, optimization, and maintenance of our platforms; Propose and develop our infrastructure, whether by updating current components or rebuilding them; Collaborate and integrate with the Engineering team to identify and solve problems; Develop systems providing autonomy, monitoring, and scalability for the teams; Be responsible for the operation of our platform integrated with other teams.

After the initial screening, the selected women will receive support materials and guidance about Ambev, along with an online technical test to assess their skills and knowledge.
In the final stage of the process, which will take place from May 30 to June 15, the approved women will be interviewed individually. The job openings, under CLT regime, are for work remotely or hybrid, at the candidate’s choice.
