The Virtual University of the State of São Paulo (Univesp), which is linked to the Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Innovation, is still accepting registrations for more than 20 thousand places in free courses. However, please note, the deadline to register is close to the end.
As recently published by Click Oil and Gas, Univesp has thousands of places available in free courses. In fact, to be more precise, the number of places is 23,322.
These opportunities are spread across 425 locations in 371 municipalities, including the capital, the interior, and the coast. To give an idea, only in the capital city, there are 4,632 places being offered distributed across the 52 hubs located in the Unified Educational Centers of the city of São Paulo.
The Courses Offered by Univesp
In total, as stated in the announcement, these thousands of places are divided among the following courses:

Become an expert in programming in a course that pays up to R$ 800 for it: Senai and Petrobras offer a free programming course that can pay a monthly scholarship.

The São Paulo government opens 1,700 spots in free courses in the capital and Greater São Paulo, with classes starting on April 27 and registrations available in person or online for areas with high demand in the job market.

Federal Institute will pay you R$ 300 for a free course: IFSP calls women for 320 in-person vacancies in 8 cities, with 60 hours of training and registrations open until April 21, 2026.

Senar opens more than 3,000 vacancies in free technical courses for 2026 with 9 programs in agriculture, hybrid education EAD + in-person, registrations until May 26 and simplified selection without exams throughout Brazil.
- Languages, Mathematics, and Pedagogy (Teaching Axis);
- Data Science, Computer Engineering, and Information Technology (Computing Axis);
- and Business Administration, Production Engineering, and Technology in Management Processes (Business and Production Axis).
Deadline for Registrations Is Close to the End
As mentioned, the deadlines to register and secure one of the spots are close to the end. According to the announcement, interested parties have until next Monday (08) to register. This registration is done at vestibular.univesp.br, and it is necessary to pay a fee of R$ 52.
Date of the Exams
After the registration closes, the next important date is the exam, scheduled to take place on May 26 at 1 PM. So far, the locations have not yet been announced, with such information expected on May 21 at 3 PM. Those approved will start classes at the end of July this year.
Who Can Register to Join Univesp
To participate in the Univesp exam, one must have completed high school or have it scheduled to be completed by the enrollment period. According to the announcement, candidates must also complete the socioeconomic questionnaire, provide their CPF, and personal details.
Those interested can use their grades from the National High School Exam (Enem) from 2021, 2022, and 2023, which will be considered in the objective exam and integrated into the final score.
According to the organizing committee, the exam will also include the Added Score System for Black, Brown, and Indigenous People (PPI) and for students who studied high school in public schools.
Finally, the information is that the official answer key will be released on May 27 at 3 PM on the exam website. The official publication of results and the first call will occur on June 25 at 3 PM.
