The British Embassy in Brazil is currently accepting applications for the Chevening Scholarships program, which offers a fully funded scholarship for master’s courses at UK universities. Applications for this opportunity close TODAY, November 5.
The program includes scholarships for educational institutions in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales, with classes starting between September and October 2025. The scholarship covers all master’s costs, including round-trip airfare, as well as the tuition fees and costs of the chosen university.
The selected master’s scholarship recipients also receive a monthly allowance for personal expenses during their studies abroad. Applications must be submitted by TODAY, November 5, the final deadline for all interested candidates.

Selection Process
Master’s scholarship candidates will go through two selection stages. The first phase involves filling out an online form, where the candidate must specify their desired course and attach the required documentation. The second phase is an interview in English, which may take place at the embassy, consulates, or other locations in Brazil.
Who Can Apply for Scholarships in the UK?
The Chevening program does not restrict participation to specific fields of study. As indicated on the official website, there is no strict profile for scholars, but candidates with ambition, leadership, and a good academic record are preferred. Some of the main characteristics of candidates include:
- Having at least two years of professional experience, including volunteering, paid or unpaid internships;
- Commitment to return to their home country for at least two years after completing the course to apply the knowledge gained;
- A track record of professional excellence and achievements, with the potential to become a leader in their field;
- Demonstration of possessing the necessary skills and personal qualities to make the most of the scholarship and advance their career;
- Interest in being part of the Chevening alumni network during and after their studies in the UK;
- Clarity on how the chosen course could benefit their home country after their return.
