Autonomy and Income Program Petrobras brings together free training, financial support, and courses aimed at industrial sectors seeking professionals prepared for technical, operational, and maintenance roles in different Brazilian states.

Autonomy and Income Program Petrobras, developed in partnership with Senai and institutions of the Industry System, offers free professional qualification and technical training courses for workers interested in working in industrial areas.

The initiative includes training without registration or tuition fees and provides financial support to selected students, according to the rules defined in each notice published by the organization.

Aimed at training a workforce for sectors that demand qualified professionals, the offer includes activities related to industry, maintenance, construction, assembly, and operation.

According to Petrobras, the program includes 34 free courses, distributed between professional qualifications and technical level training, with registrations made through the initiative’s official platform.

Although the initial announcement mentions 6,000 vacancies, consultation of the official notices shows selections organized by states, units, and specific calls.

In April 2026, the Industry News Agency reported the opening of 1,540 vacancies in Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, and Pernambuco, with a specific registration deadline for that notice.

Free Senai courses meet high-demand industrial areas

The available training meets occupations considered strategic for the industry, especially in operational, technical, and production support roles.

The official program list includes courses such as industrial electrician, welder, industrial painter, industrial machinery mechanic, assembly mechanic, boilermaker, industrial instrument technician, industrial thermal insulator, and hydrojet operator.

There are also options related to construction and maintenance, such as building maintenance assistant, civil construction assistant, industrial plumber assistant, scaffolding assembler, refractory bricklayer, and signalman rigger.

With this variety, candidates with different levels of experience can seek an entry point into activities present in industrial plants, construction sites, and specialized services.

In addition to professional qualification courses, the program lists technical training in areas such as industrial automation, electrotechnics, mechanics, metallurgy, occupational safety, welding, quality, and construction.

These options require attention to the prerequisites defined in the announcement, as education level, place of residence, and socioeconomic profile may vary according to the call opened in each region.

Aid of up to R$ 800 depends on the rules of each announcement

Financial support is one of the points that differentiates the Petrobras Autonomy and Income Program from other professional qualification initiatives.

The public calls provide for a scholarship and, in some cases, additional benefits such as food, transportation, uniform, or support items, always according to the announcement published for each class.

The vacancy announcement mentions a monthly aid of R$ 660, with the possibility of reaching R$ 800 in situations provided for by the program’s rules.

As the amounts may vary according to the course, unit, state, and type of training, the candidate needs to check the announcement of the chosen vacancy before completing the registration.

This support aims to reduce barriers to permanence, especially for students in situations of social vulnerability.

In previous publications about the program, Senai reported that the criteria may include minimum age, education required by the course, residence in areas covered by Petrobras, and socioeconomic framework provided in the announcement.

Announcements organize vacancies by state, course, and unit

Registrations do not function as a single national call with identical rules for all candidates.

On the program’s portal, the announcements are organized by state, executing institution, course, and selection period, making it essential to consult the official page before choosing a training.

In the announcements area, calls appear for states such as São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Pernambuco, Paraná, and Minas Gerais, with specific documents for each selection.

The platform itself informs the status of registrations, which may indicate open calls, closed calls, schedule corrections, lottery results, or amendments related to benefits.

Therefore, the deadline of June 15, 2026 mentioned in the announcement should be treated with caution by the candidate.

Until the consultation carried out in the official sources, it was not possible to safely confirm that this date applies to all program announcements, as each call may have its own calendar and subsequent changes.

Recognized certification can enhance the professional resume

Upon completing the training and meeting the approval criteria, the student receives certification corresponding to the completed course.

The document proves expertise in a specific area and can be used in selection processes, especially for positions that require formal qualification or familiarity with industrial routines.

The program’s proposal combines practical training, free access, and support for retention.

For workers seeking their first job, relocation, or a change of field, courses like welding, electrical, mechanical, assembly, instrumentation, and maintenance can increase access to positions in industrial companies and service providers.

Even so, registration does not guarantee automatic enrollment.

Selection depends on the rules outlined in each notice, and some calls may use electronic lottery, requirements analysis, or specific stages of document confirmation.

Those who fail to follow the schedule may miss enrollment deadlines, calls, or document submission.

How to enroll in Senai’s free courses

Registration must be done online, on the official platform of the Programa Autonomia e Renda Petrobras.

The candidate needs to access the notices area, choose the course of interest, click on “Enroll” and fill in information such as CPF, RG, full address, email, and contact phone number, as per the guidance published on the program’s website.

Before finalizing the registration, it is necessary to check the offer’s municipality, the unit where classes will be held, the workload, the prerequisites, the amount of aid, and the selection calendar.

After registration, follow-up should be done on the portal itself, where results, corrections, calls, and enrollment instructions are published.
