Participation in the Career Fair at Casa Fraternidade Francisco de Assis
For its participation in the Career Fair at Casa Fraternidade Francisco de Assis, Braskem invited internally Leonardo Celso, SSMA leader in Duque de Caxias, to share his knowledge about his area, academic background, professional trajectory, and career opportunities within Braskem. The company demonstrated a continuous effort to support social development and sustainability through events like this, intensifying the positive impact on communities.
The event was attended by students from the institution, aged between 14 and 18, interested in exploring the various possibilities for insertion and professional growth within the company. ‘We are immensely grateful for Braskem’s support and the presence of Maiza and Leonardo at our second edition of the Career Fair,’ declares Selson Scoralick, coordinator of Casa Fraternidade Francisco de Assis. Braskem, known for being an organization dedicated to social responsibility, brought highly skilled professionals to talk with the youth.
Teaching and Guidance for Informed Choices
The Braskem representative used accessible language for the young audience and provided practical examples from daily life to explain the engineering profession, significantly contributing to the youths’ ability to make informed choices about their careers. This direct contact with Braskem professionals helps in understanding career opportunities and the role of social development and sustainability within communities.
The 2nd Braskem Call: Projects that Transform is an initiative aimed at supporting social projects focused on local and sustainable development in the areas where the organization operates. This edition selected 12 projects, each receiving up to 50,000 reais in incentives, reinforcing Braskem’s ongoing commitment to communities.
Project Selection Process
The winning projects underwent five rigorous evaluation stages: eliminatory analysis, classificatory technical evaluation, initial documentation, strategic documentation, and final documentation. In 2023, the call received a total of 226 entries, of which 20 were selected as finalists and 12 chosen as winners. These stages are essential to ensure that the projects align with Braskem’s mission to promote local and sustainable development.
Braskem, as a company committed to social development and sustainability, ensures that its projects positively impact communities, providing career opportunities and driving local development through carefully selected and well-structured initiatives.
