- Previous experience on vessels: OSRVs and PSVs
- Desirable technical English;
- International Certificate of Yellow Fever;

- TBS (Basic Safety Training – ECIN/EBPS/ESPE/ESRS);
- CFAQ (Waterway Worker Training Course (COC) – 1034); – Rule: III/5

Requirements and qualifications:

- Possess CIR in the category of 1st Engineer Officer (1OM) or Senior Engineer Officer (OSM)
- COC – Certificate of Competence – 1031 – Rule: III/2 – no restriction
- Previous experience on vessels: PSV and/or OSRV
- Solid experience in the role/area;
- International Yellow Fever Vaccine.
- TBS – Basic Safety Training (Espe-Ebps-Esrs-Ecin).
