Types Of Assistance Offered By The Program

Bolsa Família Brings Together Five Different Types Of Payments. Each One Addresses A Specific Reality Within Registered Families.

The Citizenship Income Guarantees R$ 142 Per Person. The Complementary Benefit Adds The Necessary Amount To Ensure A Minimum Of R$ 600 Per Family.

There Are Also R$ 150 Additional For Children Up To 6 Years Old (Early Childhood) And R$ 50 Extra For Pregnant Women And Youths Aged 7 To 17 (Family Variance).

A New Benefit, The Nutritional Variance, Begins In September And Will Provide R$ 50 Per Month For Each Baby Up To 7 Months Old.

Rules To Continue Receiving

To Maintain The Right To Bolsa Família, It Is Necessary To Follow Certain Commitments.

It Is Mandatory To Maintain School Attendance For Children And Adolescents Aged 4 To 17 Years. Pregnant Women Need To Have Prenatal Care And Families Must Monitor The Growth Of Children Under 7 Years Old.

Another Important Point Is To Keep Vaccinations Up To Date.

Therefore, Failure To Comply With These Requirements May Result In A Temporary Block Of The Benefit. Staying Aware Of The Rules Avoids Surprises.
