Produced in Anápolis, large mid-size SUV bets on price below R$ 200 thousand, spacious cabin, robust technology package, and uncommon comfort items in the segment to compete for space among family models in Brazil.
CAOA Changan officially announced on June 16 the arrival of the CS75 in Brazil, with an initial price of R$ 199,990, production in Anápolis (GO), and a single Infinity version to expand its presence among family SUVs.
Positioned in the national lineup between the Uni-T and the Avatr 11, the large mid-size SUV combines a family proposal, ample internal space, and an equipment package above the more common standard in this price range.
The announced price is valid for the launch and comes with a technical set consisting of a 1.5 Turbo GDi flex engine, eight-speed automatic transmission, and a warranty of up to seven years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.

Cheaper than a brand new Fiat Cronos, this used SUV offers a giant 516-liter trunk, a 1.0 Turbo 200 flex engine, CVT automatic transmission, and six airbags; the 2023 Fiat Fastback Impetus positions itself as a more complete alternative than the entry-level Cronos for those seeking more for the same budget.

The Ford Ranger plug-in hybrid, the same rugged pickup that handles 800 mm of water, becomes a plug-in pickup with a flex-fuel ethanol engine and is chosen as the International Pickup of 2026.

New 0km electric car costs less than R$ 50,000 with an 18 hp engine, carries up to 6 people, travels over 100 km per charge, recharges in a regular outlet, and surprises by dispensing with airbags and limiting speed to 50 km/h in Mexico.

Pressure from residents forces a U.S. energy utility to suspend negotiations with a data center that could require 500 megawatts by 2032 and demand new lines, reinforcements in the power grid, and large infrastructure investments.
Initially, the brand informs that the model will be offered in pearl white, metallic black, and metallic gray colors, maintaining the strategy of concentrating the offer on a single more equipped version.
SUV made in Anápolis targets families and larger rivals
With 4.770 meters in length, 1.910 meters in width, 1.705 meters in height, and 2.800 meters in wheelbase, the CS75 arrives with a size close to larger SUVs sold in the country.
These measurements place the model in a competitive range with vehicles like the Jeep Commander and CAOA Chery Tiggo 8, although the launch price is closer to mid-size SUVs.
Another central point of the commercial strategy is the trunk, which offers 725 liters in the normal configuration and can reach 1,620 liters with the rear seats folded down, according to CAOA Changan.
With this set, the brand tries to attract consumers looking for space for family use without moving into higher price ranges, especially in a market increasingly concentrated on SUVs.
The national assembly in Anápolis also helps to explain the product’s positioning, as the CS75 expands CAOA Changan’s Brazilian operation with another locally produced model.
In practice, the arrival of the SUV reinforces the company’s attempt to gain presence in a segment dominated by mid-size and large mid-size models, where internal space and equipment package weigh in the purchase decision.
1.5 turbo flex engine and eight-speed automatic transmission
Under the hood, the CS75 uses the 1.5 Turbo GDi flex engine, with 180 hp of power and 29.2 kgfm of torque, without adopting any electrification system.
This choice puts the model on a different path from some Chinese brands in Brazil, which have strongly invested in hybrid and electric versions to increase market share.
Regarding the Uni-T, the main change is in the transmission, as the CS75 replaces the dual-clutch automated gearbox with a traditional eight-speed automatic transmission.
The solution aims to deliver smoother shifts and behavior compatible with the SUV’s family-oriented proposal, especially for those who prioritize ride comfort in urban routes and trips.
The suspension also follows a more elaborate configuration for the segment, with an independent setup on all four wheels, MacPherson at the front, and Multilink at the rear.
Additionally, the SUV features 20-inch alloy wheels with 235/50 Pirelli Zero All Season tires, while the brakes are ventilated discs at the front and solid at the rear.
Interior focuses on screens, comfort, and Zero Gravity seats
Inside the cabin, the CS75 tries to stand out with the level of embedded technology and the offer of comfort features that are still rare in national SUVs in this price range.
The dashboard includes three integrated screens totaling 37.2 inches, consisting of a digital cluster, multimedia center, and an exclusive screen for the front passenger.
This digital setup reinforces the model’s more technological proposal and creates an onboard experience aimed not only at the driver but also at the front seat occupant.
In the comfort package, the front Zero Gravity seats stand out for offering electric adjustments, ventilation, heating, and massage modes.
For those traveling in the back, the rear backrests are reclinable in two positions, there is a 40/60 folding ratio, and the cabin offers 21 internal storage spaces.
The list also includes a 540-degree camera, a premium Pioneer audio system with 14 speakers, a subwoofer, and speakers in the driver’s headrest.
In terms of connectivity, the package includes two years of data from the CAOA Changan Connect system offered as a courtesy by the brand, reinforcing the attempt to deliver a more complete unique version.
Safety features semi-autonomous assistance and ADAS package
In terms of safety, the CS75 includes level 2 semi-autonomous driving assistance features, with a package focused on comfort, accident prevention, and driver support in different situations.
Among the equipment are integrated adaptive cruise control, lane change assist, traffic jam assist, forward collision warning, and autonomous emergency braking.
Also appearing on the list are lane departure warning, lane departure prevention, lane keeping assist, emergency lane maintenance, intelligent high beam control, and intelligent emergency steering.
With this package, CAOA Changan attempts to position the CS75 as a broader content alternative from the single version, without relying on higher configurations to concentrate the main features.
On the outside, the SUV features LED lighting, retractable door handles, and a front grille with active shutters, a feature that opens and closes air intakes to assist thermal management and reduce aerodynamic drag.
While the rear follows the trend of interconnected taillights, the side opts for less cut lines and elongated proportions, combining a modern look with a more traditional silhouette.
With a launch price below R$ 200,000, national manufacturing, and an extensive list of equipment, the CS75 expands CAOA Changan’s offensive in Brazil.
The competition, however, will depend on the brand’s ability to sustain the initial value, expand the service network, and turn the generous package into sales volume in the family SUV segment.
