The CEMIG Contest Will Take Place on June 12, 2022 and the Job Openings Can Be Competed by Men and Women Aged 18 and Over
The Energy Company of Minas Gerais (CEMIG) has published a notice for a new contest, offering 250 job openings throughout the state of Minas Gerais for the position of Electrician for Distribution Networks I. Applications for the job openings will begin on April 20. CEMIG will offer a total salary of up to R$ 3,803.27, and the job will require a workload of 40 hours per week.

Some Prerequisites to Compete for the Job Openings in the CEMIG Contest
- Be at least 18 (eighteen) years old by the date of admission. Male candidates must present a military service certificate or a discharge from service.
- Have full exercise of civil and political rights.
- Be up to date with electoral obligations.
- Be a native or naturalized Brazilian, and if of Portuguese nationality, be covered by the reciprocity of rights provided by specific legislation.
- Have completed Primary Education, to be proven by presenting a copy and original of the diploma or certificate issued by an educational institution recognized by the Ministry of Education during the Pre-Employment Health Assessment stage.
- Hold a National Driver’s License (CNH) – Category B.
- Have completed the Basic Course – Safety in Installations and Services with Electricity, as established in Regulatory Norm NR 10 of the Ministry of Labor and Welfare.
- Have completed the Complementary Course – Safety in the Electric Power System (SEP) and in its Proximity as established in Regulatory Norm NR 10 of the Ministry of Labor and Welfare.
- Have training on Working at Heights, as established in Regulatory Norm NR 35 of the Ministry of Labor and Welfare.
- Provide proof of a minimum of 6 (six) months of experience in construction, maintenance, or operation activities of distribution or transmission networks, through the submission of documents that show the time worked and the activities performed during the period, applicable to the position as established in appendix B of this notice. The following documents will be accepted for this purpose:
- a) Work and Social Security Card (CTPS);
- b) Certificates issued by Judiciary bodies;
- c) Individual business incorporation contract;
- d) Work contract;
- e) Company declarations.
CEMIG Contest Exams
The objective exams to compete for the job openings will take place on June 12, 2022, in the following municipalities:

The CEMIG contest exam will consist of 50 objective questions, including 30 on specific knowledge, 10 on text interpretation and Portuguese, and 10 on mathematics. In addition to the exam, there will be a pre-employment health assessment and integration training and field practice. All stages of the CEMIG contest will be eliminatory.
Registrations for the CEMIG contest can only be done on the Fumarc website starting April 20. Registrations will close on May 19, 2022, at 11:59 PM. To complete the registration, a fee of R$ 65.00 must be paid by May 20, 2022.
