Who Can Participate?
To participate, candidates for the positions must meet some essential requirements. Among them is the need to possess Brazilian nationality or, for foreigners of Portuguese nationality, to be supported by the statute of equality. How Does the Selection Process Work?
The selection process for the positions will be conducted in two qualifying stages. In the first phase, candidates will undergo a title examination, which will evaluate experience and academic qualifications, with a maximum score of 100 points. Remunerations vary according to the level of education and the chosen workload. Teachers with an undergraduate degree can earn between R$ 2,437.59 (20 hours) and R$ 3,412.63 (40 hours). Those with further training earn between R$ 2,559.47 (20 hours) and R$ 3,668.57 (40 hours). For those with a specialization, the amounts are R$ 2,681.35 (20 hours) and R$ 3,924.53 (40 hours). Teachers with a master’s degree receive between R$ 3,046.99 (20 hours) and R$ 4,692.37 (40 hours), while those with a doctorate can earn up to R$ 6,357.02 in a 40-hour weekly regime.
