The New Selection Process in RS Offers Opportunities at Various Levels of Education Aimed at Strengthening Public Security in the State
The General Institute of Expert Services of Rio Grande do Sul (IGP RS) is just a few steps away from launching its long-awaited public competition. With the publication of Portaria IGP No. 139/2024, the organizing committee has been officially formed, marking an important advancement in the selection process. The competition aims to fill 234 positions distributed among the roles of Criminal Expert, Medical-Legal Expert, Forensic Technician, and Latent Fingerprint Examiner.
Main Positions and Requirements
The IGP RS competition is expected to provide opportunities for candidates with both high school and higher education qualifications. The roles included have specific requirements:
- Criminal Expert: requires higher education in fields such as Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering.
- Medical-Legal Expert: requires a degree in Medicine.
- Forensic Technician: is intended for candidates with high school or technical education in related fields.
- Latent Fingerprint Examiner: requires a complete higher education and offers an initial salary of R$ 8,587.25.
Compensation varies depending on the position and work schedule, possibly exceeding R$ 10,000 for Criminal Expert and Medical-Legal Expert.
