Recipe Teaches How to Produce 18 Liters of Homemade Paint Using Clay, White Glue, and Oil, Dramatically Reducing the Cost of Domestic Painting
Preparing an economical paint has become an alternative for those looking to reduce costs while maintaining a good finish. The proposal is to produce 18 liters of paint for just R$ 20, a price far below what is found in stores, where a cheap can costs around R$ 300.
The process begins with the clay taken from the backyard. The recommendation is to sift the material until it fills half of an 18-liter can. This step ensures a fine and uniform base.
Next, white glue is added. The indicated amount is 1 kg, which costs around R$ 14. Its function is to ensure adhesion, allowing the paint to adhere well to the applied surface.

The next step involves the oil. Half a tube, costing approximately R$ 6, should be added to the mixture. The oil is responsible for helping with waterproofing and increasing resistance to moisture.
With the main components in the container, the volume should be completed with clean water. The mixture needs to be well incorporated until it reaches a homogeneous point suitable for application.
Result and Optional Reinforcement
The formula produces a long-lasting and visually appealing paint, capable of covering surfaces like the terracotta facade mentioned in the original content. The homemade preparation allows for significant savings without compromising the finish.
There is also the possibility of making the product more resistant. The recommendation is to add two cups of cement if it is necessary to reinforce the paint’s firmness.
The method was taught by the Davi Moura Channel, which encourages the audience to save the video and test the preparation later.
