One of the most awaited competitions for this year of 2024, the Postal Service contest is getting closer to having its announcement published. Evidence of this is that, in the last week of April, it was revealed which organization will be responsible for the selection process.

According to the information, the organization in question is the American Institute of Development (IADES), which will be responsible for organizing and conducting the stages foreseen in the Public Safety professionals contest. These positions will be distributed among the following roles:

  • Occupational Safety Engineer;
  • Junior Occupational Safety Technician;
  • Junior Occupational Physician;
  • And Junior Occupational Nurse.

On the other hand, offers are still being received to select the organization responsible for the other positions that will be offered by the Postal Service, such as mail carriers, attendants, etc. According to the entity, interested parties must submit proposals and declarations proving their regularity and technical qualifications.

High Salaries in the Postal Service

The salaries of those approved in the Postal Service contest are expected to be high. This occurs because there are careers, such as that of an occupational engineer, where the starting salary is just over R$ 6,000, but the final salary can reach R$ 26,000.

For other positions, such as occupational safety assistant and technician, the salary reference varies. In this sense, there are employees who receive R$2,256.18 at the beginning and can earn up to R$11,934.73 by the end of their careers.

Benefits that the Approved Will Have

In addition to attractive salaries, those approved in the Postal Service contest will have access to various benefits when working at the institution. Among them are food/meal vouchers; transportation vouchers; daycare assistance or nanny assistance and assistance for dependent children with physical disabilities.

Additionally, the approved candidates will also receive extensive outpatient medical and dental assistance for their legal dependents during the probation period. After the probation period, they will be entitled to shared medical and dental assistance and a Supplementary Pension Plan – POSTALPREV, through the Social Security Institute of the Postal Service – POSTALIS.
