The Competition for the Adaptation Course for Engineer Officers of the Brazilian Air Force (EAOEAR) 2025 Appears as One of the Main Opportunities for Engineering Professionals Who Dream of Joining the Military Career.

Today, the entity has vacant positions available in several specialties, in a competition that offers high remuneration and provides the opportunity for approved candidates to work in one of the most traditional institutions in Brazil.

Vacancies in the Brazilian Air Force Competition

In total, there are nine open positions for engineers who wish to work in the Air Force. These opportunities are divided into specialties. Check it out:

  • Computer Science: five vacancies;
  • Electrical: two vacancies;

The Steps to Approval

The Brazilian Air Force competition can be considered complex, as it consists of several stages. The first one will be the Written Test phase. In this stage, theoretical tests will be conducted covering specific knowledge of each specialty, as well as general questions related to the military area.

After that, the verification of Biographical and Professional Data (VDBP) will be carried out. Here, candidates will have their personal and professional data verified to ensure the accuracy of the information provided during registration.

Once these two phases are completed, candidates will undergo health evaluations. The first one is a Health Inspection (INSPSAU), where the candidates will undergo medical examinations to attest that they are physically fit to perform military duties.

After that, it will be time for the Psychological Aptitude Test (EAP). In this phase, candidates will have their psychological traits evaluated. Following this, candidates will take the Physical Conditioning Evaluation Test (TACF), where they will undergo physical tests to assess their physical condition and endurance.

Finally, candidates will undergo the Complementary Heteroidentification Procedure (PHC) to ensure the integrity of the selection process and for document validation.

Content of the Brazilian Air Force Competition Test

The objective test of the Brazilian Air Force competition will consist of objective questions covering the following contents:

  • Grammar and Text Interpretation (GIT): Evaluating textual comprehension and proficiency in the Portuguese language;
  • Specialized Knowledge (CE): Covering subjects related to the specialty chosen by the candidate;
  • And Essay (RED): Testing the ability of written expression and argumentation on current topics.

It is important to emphasize that the objective and written test is considered the main stage of the competition, as it has eliminatory and classificatory character.

Unlike the other phases, which are only eliminatory. In this regard, it can be seen that the Written Tests allow candidates to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in a more comprehensive manner.
