The Government of São Paulo Published This Tuesday (15) the Notice Opening a Public Contest for 4,4 Thousand Vacancies in the Military Police. The Opportunities Are for the Position of Second-Class Soldier, with an Initial Salary of R$ 4.825,21.
Two Notices and Start Still in 2024
There Will Be Two Notices, with 2,2 Thousand Vacancies Each.
The First One Will Be Launched in August 2024, and the Second Is Expected for January 2026. The Selection Aims to Reinforce the Police Force with New Classes in the Coming Years.

Who Can Participate
To Apply, You Must Be Between 17 and 30 Years Old, Be Up to Date with Electoral and Military Obligations, and Meet the Minimum Height Requirement: 1.55m for Women and 1.60m for Men.
The Selection Process Will Have Five Stages: Knowledge Test, Psychological Exam, Physical Aptitude Test, Social Conduct Evaluation, and Document Analysis.
Reinforcement in the Police Force
Since 2023, the State Government Has Already Authorized 14.4 Thousand New Vacancies to Strengthen the Performance of the Military Police in São Paulo.
Currently, There Are 3.5 Thousand Second-Class Soldiers in Activity and 645 Officer Students in Training.
In Addition, 7.3 Thousand Military Police Officers Have Already Been Trained During This Period, Including 101 Health Corps Lieutenants. The Strengthening of the Force Aims to Improve Visible and Preventive Policing in All Regions of the State.
