The notice for the João Pessoa Guard competition has undergone a rectification, with some important modifications to the schedule. The registrations, originally set to end on the 8th, have been extended until January 22. Those interested should register on the digital portal of the organization IDECAN, making a payment of R$ 100.00.

Furthermore, the date for the evaluations, initially scheduled for February 25, has been postponed to March 3.

The competition aims to fill vacancies for the Municipal Guard position, requiring a high school education and an age range between 18 and 35 years. The starting salary is R$ 1,302.00, plus a Risk Gratification of 100%.

To compete, candidates must meet the following conditions: be a Brazilian citizen, either by birth or naturalization; have completed high school; be at least 18 years old and at most 35 years old; have a minimum height of 1.65m (men) and 1.55m (women); and possess a National Driver’s License (Category B).

Stages and Criteria of the Competition

According to the notice, the testing phases of the João Pessoa Guard Competition include:

Objective Test: eliminatory and classificatory;
Physical Aptitude Test: eliminatory;
Health Assessment: eliminatory;
Psychological Evaluation: eliminatory;
Social Investigation: eliminatory;
Training Course: eliminatory.

Candidates will be disqualified in the objective test and eliminated from the competition if they either score below 50% of the total points in the objective test; or score 50% or higher, but do not answer at least one question correctly in each subject; or are classified outside the number of calls stipulated for the next phase of the competition.
